A relatively nice day

Today’s AQI is forecast to be GOOD to MODERATE across Idaho.

Canadian fires, the Sourdough fire in North Central Washington, and the Ridge Creek fire in Kootenai County are contributing to smoke and haze over North Idaho. This smoke will drift northeast to east across North Idaho into Montana this afternoon. Fire in Oregon are producing smoke this drifting into Eastern Oregon and South Idaho. The Elkhorn fire and Hayden fire in Central Idaho are causing local impacts. The smoke and haze from the Central Idaho fires and the Oregon fires will drift east over the Snake River Plain overnight into Wyoming.
