The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has lifted the Emergency Air Quality Forecast and Caution for Boundary, Bonner, Kootenai, Benewah and Shoshone Counties (outside of reservation boundaries), effective 8/31/2015 at 12 PM. Please be aware that numerous wildfires are still active across north Idaho and air quality can deteriorate rapidly. Be aware of changing conditions to protect your health.
This site is an effort by county, state, tribal, and federal agencies to coordinate and aggregate information for Idaho communities affected by wildfire smoke. The information is posted here by the agencies themselves.
