FIRE, WEATHER AND SMOKE SYNOPSIS
Weather:  A cold front moving onshore over the northwest will increase clouds today. High temperatures will be up to 65 on the ridge tops and 70s in the valleys. Relative Humidity values of 20 to 25 percent are expected in the lower valleys with 20 to 30 percent relative humidity values in the higher elevations. Winds will be from the southwest in the afternoon on ridge tops at 10 to 20 mph, with gusts to 25 in the afternoon, valley winds will be upslope at 5 to 15 mph.
 
Fire Activity: Minimal fire activity is expected again today. Creeping and smoldering can be expected. Isolated single tree and group tree torching can be expected as fuels continue to dry.
 
Smoke Summary:  Reduced fire activity resulted in considerably less smoke production yesterday. Smoke production today should be similar to yesterday. Today, any smoke impacts will be minimal.  Some smoke may settle into the valleys in the overnight hours. Although the Lowman area may still see some smoke, air quality has improved.
