Due to wildfire smoke
from regional wildfires, an Air Quality Advisory is issued for the Nez Perce
Reservation. Depending on fire
activity, wildfire smoke may move in and out of the area and some areas may be
more impacted than others. Conditions will be reassessed and an air quality
update issued by 10:00am, August 26, 2020.
Air quality is currently
in the “Moderate” category of the Air Quality Index. The Idaho Department of Health &
Welfare has two charts that may be of interest:Community Guide for Staying
Healthy During Wildfire Events and School Activity Guidelines
for Wildfire Smoke Events.
