FIRE, WEATHER AND SMOKE SYNOPSIS
Weather: High pressure over the area today
will bring warmer and drier air to the area. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s in the
valleys and upper 50s to low 60s on the ridge tops. Relative Humidity values
of 20 to 25 percent are expected in the lower valleys with 20 to 30 percent
relative humidity values in the higher elevations. Winds will be light from the west
in the afternoon on ridge tops at 7 to 10 mph, valley winds will be upslope
at 4 to 8 mph. A cold front will approach the area tomorrow bringing gusty
winds.
Fire Activity: Minimal fire activity is expected again today. Creeping
and smoldering can be expected.
