Make plans for periods of air quality reaching the Unhealthy Category in your area
While not all areas will experience the same level of smoke everyone should make plans for periods of air quality reaching the Unhealthy Category so you are ready just in case your area is hit next. Stay prepared! Weather forecast suggest little if any changes to our current conditions which means wildfire smoke will continue to build and be stirred around. The numerous large wildfires in and around Idaho are in terrain that makes it difficult for fire fighters to make any headway. It appears that several additional fire starts may have occurred yesterday as well and could add to the smoke significantly in areas near those fires.
