Hot and hazy today

Air quality forecasts for today are in the Good to Moderate Category with Salmon in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups Category.

Much of the state will remain hot, hot, hot today but will only see some hazy conditions. The Central Idaho Mountains, however, continue to be impacted by smoke from the Moose Fire. Nightly smoke drainage impacts the entire Snake River Plain. Tomorrow, however, winds turn westerly and smoke from western states will increase along the our western border with Oregon and into the Lower and Upper Treasure Valley.
