Air Quality Summary Report  -  Pioneer Fire             For: Wednesday, August 10, 2016

Air Resource Advisors: Andrea Holland (andreahollandsears@gmail.com ) & Duncan Leao (dleao@fs.fed.us)

FIRE, WEATHER AND SMOKE SYNOPSIS
Weather:  Temperatures and humidity will be similar to yesterday.  West to NW winds will be light today and tomorrow.  Temperatures will begin to warm through the week and into the weekend.
Fire Activity:  Terrain will be the main factor driving fire activity today.  NW winds may inhibit burnout operations on the NW end of the fire south of the Payette River.  Fire activity could increase on the SE end of the fire but burned acreage is not expected to be higher than seen in the last couple of days.
Smoke Summary: Smoke from Rough and Pioneer fires is likely to drift into Stanley late this afternoon and through tomorrow but is not expected to be as dense as experienced last weekend. Winds will not be strong enough to carry significant smoke away from nearby communities such as Lowman, Idaho City and the Garden Valley ICP.
