FIRE, WEATHER AND
SMOKE SYNOPSIS
Weather: Much of the same weather as yesterday with
no major systems forecasted in the next couple days. Humidity is higher
today; temperatures cooler. Winds are expected to be light from the SW around
6-12 mph in the afternoon primarily along ridgetops and upper slopes.
Fire
Activity: Fire activity and growth will respond to
the continued drying of fuels. Burnout operations will occur on the western
edge of the line today. Active terrain
dominated fire behavior will persist with upslope runs and group torching along
with spotting distances up to ¾ mile expected.
