Clearing in southern Idaho

Air quality forecasts for today are in the Good to Moderate Category.

A cold front will pass across southern Idaho and scour smoke from the area and a westerly flow pattern will reduce smoke coming into Idaho. Air quality will improve from west to east, with conditions dropping into the Good/Moderate category tomorrow by noon in eastern and southeast Idaho. Periodic smoke surges will affect the southern Panhandle and the Palouse periodically tonight and tomorrow morning.
